Update on our response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We at Sharon Bank are closely watching the news regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the rapidly evolving actions taken by local, State and Federal agencies. Please be assured that we are focusing all of our efforts on supporting you, our employees, and our community through this situation, including ensuring that you have uninterrupted access to our banking services.

For our Darby Branch, we have plexiglass separating the tellers from the lobby but if you prefer, please feel free to use the walkup to the left of the ATM vestibule.

 

Our Management team has taken measures that will support our continued operations and support our customers during emergencies and disasters and continue to evolve and enhance these for the particular challenges of the coronavirus.

Also, and given that it is also cold and flu season, we have taken the following precautionary measures:

  • We have educated our employees on best practices to help minimize the spread of the virus, including frequent handwashing, staying at home when sick, and self-quarantining after suspected possible exposure to the virus. We encourage our customers to observe the same practices. You can expect that we will give you a warm hello at all our branches, but in order to avoid passing germs, we will not shake your hand.

     

  • In order to help prevent the spread of any illness to customers or the public, we have asked that any of our employees who are feeling ill or exhibiting symptoms of illness (including respiratory disease or fever), or has a family member who is ill, to stay home.

     

  • As noted above, similar to the advice given to our employees, we ask that any customers who are not feeling well to please avoid visiting our branches if possible. To facilitate this, we are encouraging customers to use our electronic banking tools to access your accounts to perform banking functions.

  • Additionally, surfaces are wiped down regularly to mitigate the spread of germs.
