Important Fraud Alert: Phishing Scams Impersonating Sharon Bank
Sharon Bank has been made aware of fraudulent attempts by scammers using names similar to ours, such as “Sharon Savings Bank,” to deceive customers into providing confidential information.
These communications may come in the form of mail, emails, phone calls, or text messages claiming to be from our financial institution. Please be advised that these messages are not from Sharon Bank.
What Sharon Bank Will Never Ask
For your protection, Sharon Bank will never request sensitive or confidential information through unsolicited communications, including:
- Your online banking username or password
- PIN numbers or full debit/credit card numbers
- Security codes or one-time passcodes
- Personal information such as Social Security numbers via email or text
- Requests to click suspicious links or download unexpected attachments
